Michaels

Shopping at Michaels has become such a complete waste of time for me this past year. I'm a little saddened by this because I used to spend a LOT of time & money shopping at Michaels. Even though they've raised their prices, reduced their inventory selection, and removed all of the price checkers, I still looked forward to dropping in and was willing to shop there if they had something I wanted even though I could have purchased it online. The few times I was actually able to find something I wanted to purchase I ended up leaving the store empty handed, because the self-check out registers are terrible! There's always an issue with them and there is never anyone readily available to assist me when they glitch. The most recent time happened today, 4-5 self-checkout lanes were open but all of the screens were frozen. There was only 1 associate on the sales floor who was helping a customer who needed a great deal of assistance. I didn't even bother waiting, I left my few items at the counter and walked out.

I got a BD party celebration for my 10 year old daughter! Everything went amazing! Technically, Michaels did even for me: decorations, food, goodie bags craft classes! All the kids loved it! Lauren, who hosted the party was super friendly, patient, fun and caring!

Most staff are nice and helpful. Don’t even try to go into the women’s bathroom here. You might faint just from the smell and condition of it! No soap or toilet paper one time. One toilet out of order and flooded into the other while the only working toilet is full of blood and crusted poop. I had told staff and managers nicely that they need to take care of this, but it’s just worse every time!

Dropped by the Michael's Store in Milestone Center to pick up a picture frame. If you need anything related to art supplies, decorating, holiday supplies, scrapbooking, picture frames and many other hobbies, this is your place. The aisles are full of supplies and there is a great variety of items. Today I came in for a picture frame, and was able to quickly find what I needed. I was able to purchase a standard frame, but they have custom framing available. The store is well organized and the aisles are labeled to tell you what is there. In addition, they have displays down the main aisles with sale and discounted items. Two different associates offered to help me (when I entered the store and in the frame section). Which is great if you are looking for a specific item. I recommend you join online to get coupons, etc. It will greatly help reduce your expenses. Overall, a good, efficient experience to get my frame and get on my way.

My favorite store for all my art and craft supplies. 😍 I just love all the many varieties of art products available there. They always have sale or discounts on many products. The staff is really friendly and serves with a smile.
